This volunteer position is open to adults and youth ages 15 and up. Remember, all volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone who is 21+. Please also remember to follow our dress code policy before arrival at the Food Bank.

We grow fresh, healthy food to feed our neighbors and teach free gardening classes to help people learn how to grow food themselves on our 1-acre urban farm. Volunteers will gain first-hand experience in organic gardening by helping with tasks such as cultivating garden beds, planting seeds and transplants, harvesting and washing produce, pulling weeds, and turning compost piles.
